Brick Fireplace Removal

My 1930s house has a pair of fireplaces back-to-back. I would like to remove one of the fireplaces while keeping the other intact. Need someone to consult on what is possible/reasonable to achieve, and also to do the work. Only removal is required, no wall or ceiling restoration as this is part of a larger renovation. The remaining fireplace is a wetback and needs to stay in working condition. This is a holiday home so accommodation can be arranged if travel is needed.
