Wooden fencing to go onto existing stone wall

Hi there, We are looking to put a wooden fence (as in the attached imagery) onto our existing stone wall at the back of our property. We had a mesh fence that was previously attached to the stones, but it collapsed during a storm. The length of the fence is 11.5m, and we are looking to get a bit of privacy from our back neighbours.
