We have a short two-step external timber staircase that is too deep, especially the last step. I'd like them rebuilt in the same style but with a lower, longer rake and an additional step inserted (I estimate three steps would be more comfortable). One side currently attaches to a timber retaining wall and the other is connected via a board to the deck. There is room to extend them further forward to accommodate a lower angle and wider steps. The width is 900mm
