new stair ballustrade

We need a new ballustrade and handrail added to our existing floating staircase in macrocarpa wood. We also need a new ballustrade to the mezzanine room above the stairs. For the stairs ideally we would like the ballustrade to run vertical from bottom of each step to the roof starting from the 3rd to last step at the bottom and running to top of stairs, rather than a standard ballustrade, but open to suggestions.
