Install an attic ladder

Looking for a builder to install an attic ladder in our hallway. We haven't done anything yet (no roof hole). The joist spacing is 400mm and at right angles to how we want the ladder orientated so might need to cut multiples joists to install it. We are wanting to put in a sellwood P30 type ladder in and thinking we will buy. --- --- We just need someone with the building skills to install it correctly especially around framing the hole after cutting the joists. A measure up on site, talk through and quote would be preferred. Current access is awkward through a small hatch. Roof height is around 2750 mm. The house is a 1930s bungalow. The roof has no trusses in that usual style for the time.
