Stair alteration

Currently our stairs (ground to 1st floor) go straight up. We would like to have them altered so that there is a right turn at the end [photo 1], similar to how our stairs from 1st to 2nd floor have been build in the first place [photo 2]. Required work: - Hopefully only the 3 or 4 topmost steps need to be reworked. - New opening in existing internal gib wall, to allow access to stair turn. Not required is plastering or painting in the end. Also not required is building a new wall to close existing doorway at top of stairs. (We are going to give the whole area an overhaul after this job.)

Mike provided a very reasonable quotation, started ASAP and finished within the promised time. In the end we paid more than quoted but we had extended the scope of his work considerably, so it all made sense.
