Timber Screening to replace existing Stairwell Balustrade

Our newly purchased 1950s home has an old balustrade which we would like to replace with vertical timber slats/ screening above the stairwell. Floor to ceiling measures 2.4m and length/width required is approximately 3.5m. Would like this done sometime asap from the 2nd of May.
