Install solar panels on pergola - if possible

Hi solar Sparkies, how's it going today? I recently got a quote for putting some shade sails on the pergola. As this was rather expensive (for some sheets of cloth) and I actually want to invest in solar panels, I thought I ask you experts if this is possible: Installing the solar panels on the pergola to hit two birds with one stone. Shade and power. The size of the pergola is roughly 7x5m (measured by foot). I'm looking for quotes at the moment to see if my budget is set right. It's okay to ball park. It's okay to offer me half and full cover of that area. My household is small but I would like to charge my EV during sunshine hours for "free" if possible. Thanks for your effort. Cheers, J.
