Garage perspex skylight repair & fence post repair

The plastic perspex covering the skylight in our garage has broken and sprung a leak so needs replacing. As a guesstimate the size would be approx 1.5m x 1 m We also have a fence post that needs reattaching to the fence as the bolt holding it to the fence appears to have broken off. The roof repair needs to be done asap, but the fence post not so urgent. My Dad was a builder, so have lots of off cuts and pieces of timber etc available...a handyman's treasuretrove. We even have some offcuts of perspex but not sure if it is big enough.
