Skylight repair for leaks
Job description
There are 36 small windows in the skylight. It has been leaking on three corners for some time but worsened during the last prolonged rain. I have had repairs done in the past but the leaks are worse than ever. A specialist skylight roofer is needed for this job. The ceiling in lounge and hallway is damaged and will need repairs after the roof repair. The worst leak follows an exposed beam and runs down to the light which could be dangerous. I understand the following repairs are possibly needed: windows need reputtied barge flashings need replaced spouting is flowing behind the facia, needs replaced loose nails & rusted patches I realise roofers will be busy after the last heavy rain but hopefully the job can be carried out before long. I have no idea of the cost but have suggested up to $2,000. I am a widow and have a Community service card so struggle financially, but its imperative I get a specialist who can actually fix the problem. Thank you.

Very pleased with Tom's honest assessment of work needing to be done. Schedule was met by mutual arrangement. Cost was kept to the exact quote. Communication was A1. Tom even helped out in the emergency of a family member being locked in the Bathroom! Tom will be my "go to" person for other work.
