Skylight repair

Four weeks ago, when there was a heavy sleet and hail build up around the skylight, several leaks occurred and we had water coming into the house. When it rains, there is no problem, so perhaps it was related to the build up of hail. Someone has suggested it will be the seals in the skylight that is the problem. We need this fixed before it snows. We have only been in the house 3 months.
