Shade Sail over Deck

I would like a shade sail fitted over part of my deck. It will need wooden posts on the outside edge and I think it could be attached to the housw, which is brick, on the inside edge. The house has three different angles where it meets the deck - the corner of the lounge has been cut across at an angle and there are ranch sliders on that angle. I'm not sure if a triangular or rectangular sail would be best.
