Install new alarm system

We have an existing older alarm system (10 years?) that came with the property and want to upgrade the master control box and entry keypad. There are currently four (we think) existing PIR and two connected smoke detectors which may be OK to use. The piezo alarm/strobe unit will also need replacing. All of the system is hard-wired, so most of the job will be in removing the existing base system/keypad and replacing any components that have failed or are incompatible. We will need some fobs too. As a nice to have, it would be good to wire the garage door remote to the system too - but not essential.
