Erecting scaffolding to paint upper storey of house

Getting the small upper storey of house painted. It is a one bedroom unit upstairs but the walls of the upstairs unit are set back from the edge of the downstairs roof by a significant amount on two sides. The front of unit has a balcony so no scaffolding required there, just three sides of the house. Painter says required for three or four days.
