New & Replacement Metal Roof

Corrugated iron dormer roof (second floor) with very minor leak into bedroom. Engineer has used drone (see photos) and diagnosed that the channel at the end of the roof has water blowing up it causing the leak. The channel is completely open at the end. Needs someone to block off the channel from the wind. We are looking for a repair and not a new roof.
