We recently purchased our home and the builders report highlighted a couple of minor things we'd like to be addressed: 1. The front section of roof has three roof penetrations. They have surface mounted flashings sealing them to the iron which rely heavily on the edges seals to be effective to deflect moisture. Corrosion is present around them and water is able to pool. This doesn’t appear to have compromised the iron as of yet but will in time if left. Getting a roofer to install tray flashings over these areas before installing boot flashings is the best long term solution. 2. Small area of corrosion found on isolated areas. Treatment or replacing the flashings is recommended. We can provide actual builders report.
