leaky roof

we brought our house this year and we have found that when the rain is really bad our roof leaks a little bit. we have a sky light and a fireplace and are unsure whether the leak is here or somewere our. we think it is a iron clad roof, built in the 1980s. am looking to see how much it is for someone to come out and take a look at our roof to let us know if the roof is okay, needs to be patched or totally redone.
