Remove Fireplace
Job description
Wanting to get fireplace removed from lounge. Need chimney removed from ceiling space and chimney hole in roof repaired. Alternatively, capping the chimney inside the ceiling space so as not to have to repair the roof. House is 1970's brick and decromastic roofing (I think that is the right name, possibly iron roofing but looks like tiles?) Also want a blind vent cover placed over the ceiling hole where the flue goes so that a heat transfer kit can be put in. Getting insulation done in next 2 weeks, would love to have fireplace removed by then to make life easy for the insulation team.
