Install bird spikes

We have a 3m stretch of roof above our front door on which pigeons are perching, roosting and fouling the front door and front footpath. I have purchased 6 x 0.5m strips of bird spikes from Pestrol but have no way of getting up to that second storey part of the roof. Would one of your staff be able to do this? With the right tools (i.e. ladder, etc) and expertise I doubt that it would take an expert more than an hour to complete the job.
