Leaky roof

We have 15-20 leaky drips in our roof, most of them are right down the middle of the house. My best guess is that there is an issue with the centre capping, I have previously repaired a couple with silicon but seem to have missed quite a few somehow. Please help, we have a leak running down our bedroom wall and two new holes in our lounge ceiling, I put at least a dozen plastic containers up there last night but that's just an ill fitting bandaid
