Barge boards evidence of timber rot

Kia ora We have a builders report for a property that details that the barge boards need fixing. The report reads "All of the barge boards have evidence of splitting/rot below the paint. Some of the timber is quite rotten, and the ends of the barge boards of the dormer roof have rotted away. These will require repair/replacement. It is advisable that a licenced building practitioner assess the barge boards and provide further advice on repair/replacement and costs" I've attached the photos below.
