Repair roof leak

We had a leak a number of years ago. The person who came out to repair it said that a roofing nail had been incorrectly put into the "valley" of our corrugated iron roof and this was the reason for the leak. He removed the nail and put some silicone over the whole. The roof is leaking again and we need it to be repaired. I don't have any photos as I can't got onto the roof myself.
