Leaking Gutter Joins

1. Gutters are leaking from 2 different joiners (see photo 1 and 2) 2. Gutter maybe installed to far below the roof over-hang as water is leaking down the wall on one side of the house (see photo 3) 3. Blocked drain - overflowing onto the lawn (see photo 4) 4. Birds getting into the eaves/ roof on one corner of the house (neighbour spotted them) House is 100 years old. Has Marley Spouting in ok condition however I have noticed the 4 concerns above. As house is 3+ meters tall (being an old villa) I can not get up that high without buying a new ladder and I can't be bothered plus even tho I am young, I have arthritis so is difficult to climb. This job is probably too simple for a qualified plumber so a handy-man type person could probably do the work. Not sure if its a simple job of adding more silicon to the joins. House being so old I believe the downpipes are simply draining into the ground. The LIM report doesn't mention any soak holes or being connected to the sewers for the rain water.
