Butynol Roof Repair - separated join

Job description

Metal Spouting & Downpipes
Rodney

My 1969's house has a corrogated iron roof that drains to a large Butynol gully section over the front door/porch area (renovated addition ~5yrs ago) , which then drains/spills into the spouting. One small edge of the butynol has lifted near the spouting edge and allows water to track underneath and into the soffit (it tracks and drains about 1m away). I need a butynol roofing expert to assess and repair this lifted section correctly. Photos attached.

I needed a leaking join on a membrane roof/gully. Given difficulty to repair, and how poorly it had been initially laid, I was advised the best option was to replace the entire section. Glad I did. Overall the advise was top notch, he was able to fully explain everything that he proposed doing to substantially improve the membrane roof section. He even worked in generous edge protection under the roofing iron and shaped the drain path into the gutter. A thorough and well thought out job, which has worked perfectly all winter - and will do for years. He was a pleasure to work alongside (I removed roof iron to gain access), and he was even mindful of my son moving about on the deck below given the tin flashing debris we'd created. Highly recommended - and I'd use his services again if ever I saw the need. Cheers.
