Not sure if this is a job for a roofer; skylight person or a glazier. We have just built a pergola which sits just outside our lounge. The pergola fits below the soffit on all 3 sides but there is a gap between the ranch sliders and the front of the pergola of around 1.2m x 3m. We want to cover this in to protect us from the rain - but also want the light to come in. Perhaps plastic or plexiglass? Don't really want to use Skyclear as it is a bit 'tacky'. The plexiglass would sit below the guttering and rest on top of the pergola. The photos will give you an idea of the space.
