Repair flashing on metal roof

I have a leak I suspect is caused by worn flashings on a metal roof at the point the carport roof joins the main roof of a two storey town house built in 1975. I want the general condition of the roof assessed for future maintenance plans and the flashing replaced. My neighbour has a similar problem so there will probably be two houses to work on. The photos show one side of the area with the problem. It's difficult to photograph the entire width due to location.
