Replace the guttering

We have a flat roof, flowing into a very shallow internal gutter (around 25mm). gutter can't handle medium downpours, and overflows inwards. The attached photo shows the small space available. Hoping that the bearers can be checked to hold a deeper gutter since they are no longer weight bearing at that point.
