We have a metal roof and unfortunately there is a noise issue at one end of the house with a constant loud banging as though a firework has been thrown on the roof as the metal expands in the heat. I suspect the sound comes from the flashing as repositioning and tightening the one screw that can be reached from a step ladder resulted in significantly reducing the sound from that immediate area. We would like to resolve this issue either possibly by tightening the screws or installing MLV.
