Job description

Repair Tin & Coloursteel
New Plymouth

With the recent heavy rain, we have had a couple of leaks appear in our roof. These are in 2 areas where it appears a gas heater has been removed and a rangehood flue moved during a renovation some years ago. The old penetrations have been patched with what appears to be a rubberised cloth which has now perished and is leaking. The roof itself is in pretty poor condition and will need to be replaced in the next year or so but we would like it repaired so we can defer the replacement until more settled weather arrives. There is third similar area around the rangehood flue which is not leaking yet but I would like it checked to see how much longer it is likely to last.

I am very happy with the response time and workmanship from Straight Flush. I called them investigate and repair a leaking roof. They got in touch very quickly and were on site promptly. They were able to do some work immediately to reduce the leakage and returned a day or so later to complete the repair. No leaks since in the wettest weather I have seen in 20 years in Taranaki. Also had them cap off and remove a disused gas pipe connected to the live system also completed very promptly.
