About 2 years ago a loose flashing allowed water to be blown back up into the ceiling space over our kitchen. The ceiling became waterlogged and sagged. My husband found the lead edge was not making good contact with the corrugated iron so he fixed this. It has not leaked since. We are finally getting the ceiling repaired but our insurance company requires a professional ‘Roofer’s report’ confirming the cause and that it is not currently leaking. The roof is on a two storey, but we do not require any repair work. It can probably be viewed from the ground, and a hose blasted onto the roof to show no water now gets into kitchen. We just need a professional roofer in the environs who would be able to come and view the repair and certify in writing that it is no longer leaking. It is a simple task and should only take a few minutes. Please get in touch if you are able to help. Many thanks.
