Leaky roof down bedroom wall

I have a leak which appears to be from the roof but may be from a faulty gutter. Water runs down the inside wall of one of the bed rooms. Double story house with access to the roof via an outside deck on higher level. Tiles are cement/concrete type and we do have a couple if it requires a replacement of a cracked tile. I have been up on the roof but am not able to see where the route cause is from. The roof does not always leak but has done so again this last weekend with continual rainfall.
