I have a persistent difficult to find leak in my roof. It is likely it is coming through an old chimney or the roofing area surrounding it. There have been a few attempts at fixing / patching up but it always comes back. I think we are at the point where we should lift the section of roof, inspect damage, relay and reseal the whole area as I can see some bends / warps in some of the roofing steel. Happy to consider other suggestions though. House is two storey and roof pitch is a little steep. Have included one photo to give an idea of height. There is access to the roof off the single level roofing on bay windows. There is no access to this part of the roof through the ceiling cavity.
