Carport roof repair

I have a double carport with a corrugated iron roof and a portion of the roof has a hole due to rust. Area to be repaired is about 1m2 The whole roof is due to be replaced but as an interim I want a cheap fix to repair just this one section I already have some corrugated iron that can be used for the job.
