During Cyclone Gabrielle a piece of flashing become detached from the edge of the roof. It is still sitting on top of the roof. A single storey house. The roofing companies say it is too small a job for them to bother with. It likely requires someone with a ladder and a hammer. It is not super-urgent but will need to be done at some time.
