I have been told the roof needs to be checked for "fixings only" as there is no rust and yet water has been coming through lounge roof after heavy rain storms at the end of last summer. Since the onset of winter there has been no evidence of water inside. Thoughts are that now the wooden framing has swollen with the winter rain and water can no longer enter. As soon as things dry out again come summer wood will shrink back allowing water to enter again. It is important to have this situation rectified before the onset of summer.
