Our roof has some broken / cracked tiles (clay tiles) following the earthquake and is no longer water tight. In heavy rain, we currently have water trickling down our pellet fire flue and dripping onto the hearth. We have been in the roof and put tarps under the leaks but need to get them fixed now. We have some spare tiles which should be enough to do the job. The EQC have advised that if the work comes to less than $2K that the roofer may bill the EQC direct using our claim number. Would be interested to hear from some tradesmen with good feedback.
