Leaky roof repair

I am seeing some discolouration on ceiling tiles and am pretty sure that we have a problem with a leak in the roof. After the quakes we had a small portion of the roof repaired where the chimneys fell. I think it is the seam between the old and new tin roof. Original roof is only about 12 years old. House is an old villa with steep roofs...possibly easier to repair from the attic inside the house. ?? not sure.
