Hi, over the past few months, there has been mould growing on the ceiling of an otherwise sunny and well aerated bedroom. We had it professionally moisture tested, however, the levels were hardly elevated to justify the mould. Their suggestion is that when it rains heavily, there might be a back flow of some kind into the ceiling cavity, perhaps to do with the stormwater downpipe? It is only that one room and ceiling that there is mould on, and this downpipe coming off the gutter is here too. It would also be good to investigate the roof for any potential leaks.
