Carry out repairs and sealing of roof
Job description
Item 1 - Upper roof around chimney, the rivets securing the flashing have sheared off and the corners of the flashing have lifted. This most likely happened during high winds as it would take a tremendous amount of force for this flashing to bend and for the rivets to shear as it has. The fix would be to clean off the old sealant, return the flashing to position and fix it down using additional rivets. Item 2 - On the upper roof there are a number of loose roof screws. These screws were checked and secured during a previous visit which indicates that the roof must have taken quite a beating during a storm event. Solution is checking and securing all the roof screws on the upper roof.
