Claw foot bath resurfacing in home

Have a claw foot bath that needs its enamel resurfacing, The area damaged by a dripping tap which has eaten through the enamel is about 50cm long. It just looks unclean And a couple of small chips on edge but I can live with those. It's a homestay in Greytown so work could be done easily in the week.
