Single Room Full Reno - Removal of all lining, electrical and install of storage
Job description
I am looking to get a quote for upgrading our downstairs room - it is currently very mouldy and damp. We are wanting to upgrade it to a level so that we can store things like tramping packs without getting mouldy. Scope: - Remove all wall and ceiling lining - Remove carpet and timber floorboards - Survey state of studs, joists etc and replace any where necessary - Install drains in the front and back of the room to stop moisture - Install underfloor insulation, moisture barrier and new floorboards - Redo all electrical, add more power points and lights - Install moisture barrier on concrete and normal walls - Insulate with batts and maybe foam board for concrete wall - Install plasterboard and hard flooring, complete final finishes - Install storage on walls throughout

Chris did an amazing job renovating our downstairs room - ripping off existing gib, building false wall, waterproofing and insulation. When we removed our asbestos ceiling panel it revealed we had a leak from our deck and rotting joists, studs etc. We appreciated how there was no panic with the increase in scope and Chris worked diligently to have all this work completed and watertight before Christmas. Price was reasonable, communication was easy and the sub-trades were great to work with.
