Resurfacing bathtub

Cast iron old bath. Needs re surfacing. Please refer to pictures to see condition. If we can get it resurfaced then we will redo the shower lining, tape ware, silicone, skirting etc… If it cannot be resurfaced then we will replace the whole shower over bath unit. Just looking for the resurfacing job. I understand it will be closer to $500. Many thanks
