Year house built: 1991. Has crawl space. Has one bathroom and separate toilet. Basically, we want a bathroom makeover. This would include taking out the bathtub and replacing with a toilet bowl so that the house has two toilet bowls. Also wanting new: shower, vanity, floor tiles, wall tiles, extractor fan and light. New shower and toilet would go where the existing bathtub is. Also, if budget allows, we would want the floor and wall tiles in the existing toilet room to match the renovated bathroom. Particle board floor in bathroom and toilet might need to be replaced with newer flooring before installing new floor tiles. Depends on condition of existing particle board. All associated plumbing and electrical work is required too. Please let me know if a building consent is required. I have not obtained one because I understand building consent is not required for this work.
