Major additions (approx. 200m2) and some internal renovations on our recently purchased 1990's home in Rangiora. Basically some small internal wall changes/new front entrance & an extensive "addition" of new living room/kitchen wing & bedroom wing extension behind garage. Professional Architectural plans have been done & are being prepared for consent. Several elements we will be able to look after ourselves as follows; We have decided to leave the existing roofing untouched/original to help the budget. All Aluminum joinery to be replaced. The elements we are minded to take care of ourselves as follows; 1. Site scrape & foundation prep to pre boxing/reinforcing stage 2. Demolition of required internal walls/carpet/flooring/all fittings/plumbing/removal of kitchen & required roof structure/external walls etc etc. 3. Kitchen, laundry, bar, design/install 4. Sinks and taps 5. Vanities 6. Heated towel rails 7. Bath 8. Toilets 9. All Appliances 10. Flooring, vinyl, carpet & tiles & install of the same. 11. Curtains & Blinds 12. All internal doors, (not wardrobe doors) 13. Plumber quote option 14. Wardrobe system for Master bedroom 15. Benches, shelves in workshop 16. Outdoor fireplace supply/install We would be looking to start the foundations early October pending issue of consent & move as quickly as possible with the dining/bedroom wing to allow us to start occupying this end of the home whilst the other areas are closed out.
