Bathroom repairs

Had a water leak in the linen cupboard- Don't know how long for ? a plumber came around and said that it's not from the pipes as they come down from the ceiling into shower mixer and the plaster board is dry as. So for the last week we have had a dehumidifier going to dry out carpet etc. So can only guess it from the shower tray , so need someone to have a look a the linen cupboard and the shower tray. But the house was built in the early 2000's and back then they tiled to the unit and not fit the unit on top of tile like now days? So unsure what we can do until a builder comes and has a look at it ? and what damage has been done
