Turn hot water cupboard into storage space. Remove pipe or cover it with gib , patch the walls, plaster the wals or just paint over? Put gib on the floor to cover the hole in the floor (from hot water cylinder). There is no need for shelving as I will be using ventilated metal shelves once tge walls are ready
