Kitchen Renovation

Recently moved into a house where the kitchen badly needs bringing up to date.. we have already done one kitchen update which just needed new cupboard doors etc. But this kitchen has been done in a vinyl coated joinery which was very popular over twenty years ago. Not sure what options we have available to us. But you can be sure that the benches will be one of the first things to go. What I need is someone to come up with some ideas that won’t cost an arm and leg. And which would blend into the era of the house.
