Luke Brown - Self Contained Unit Renovation

Hi there, I am a residential Architectural Technician, and I have been drawing up plans to convert a closed in car port into a 2 bedroom self contained unit at my house. This will include excavation, retaining walls, removal of existing piles & bearers, new slab foundation pour, and general renovation construction. As this is a separate dwelling, it will be fully lined with GIB Fyreline. I will have the design and engineering all done and signed off by a Design LBP, Structural Engineer & Fire Engineer. I am hoping to get these plans lodged for consent within the next month, but seeing as there is such a long wait for consents at the moment, I am hoping for construction to begin sometime within this year. Photo's attached are the existing building, 2 3D renders of the proposed building, and the proposed floor plan. An LBP will be required to undergo this job. I work for Classic Builders as a drafty, and am able to get most building materials at cost.
