Creation of Secondary Independent Dwelling

Hi There, My fiancee and I are in the process of adding a SIDU to our personal home. The application is almost in to the council, so I should have working drawings (subject to RFIs) soon for a quote.  We originally planned to project manage this ourselves, but we are getting married in October so neither of us want to be taking phone calls on our honeymoon! We've got a ballpark from a quantity surveyor, so have a pretty good idea of what it should cost.  Once we have the working drawings, we're looking for a formal quote. This would be for full project management from your company, start to hand over of keys. We realise that the speed in which it can be completed is important. If someone can have it done 2 months faster of the same quality, it means we can have tenants in there 2 months sooner, which is valuable. Assuming we have 1 round of RFIs (95% of applications) at the council, we might have approval to start as soon as August. Short of it: - Addition of 45mm battens with insulation over brick - creation of kitchen - creation of bathroom - removal of small block wall (1.5sm) - adding firewall - sealing a few small holes in wall I will add more details as they come in.
