Kitchen - remove, design, build
Job description
We want someone to remove the old kitchen and design, build, decorate, install new kitchen including new sink and top, new bench tops and cupboards, shelving, pantry, waste disposal, use current dishwasher. New oven (electric) and new cooktop (gas) and new range hood/extractor required. Gas already connected to the house currently only for hot water. Will need extra electric sockets fitted and integrated with new appliances and fittings. Existing kitchen is dated - 1974 in a wooden house (4 attached photos show view of each corner of the room). Space needs to be prepared and new kitchen designed, built and fitted. Basic layout of kitchen is okay but could do with some wise/experienced input for layout, fittings, décor, efficiency, flooring, lighting, appliances… technologically modern (unusual?) fittings and functionality. Maybe include an electric socket 'tower' that retracts below bench top. We'd like someone with the practical skills as well as novel/unusual ideas to achieve the usual things in the space available which is 4.2m x 3.4m.

We wanted practical, imaginative design & top quality workmanship. The result is exactly that. We (and visitors) are gobsmacked at the transformation - inspired ideas, designs, fixtures, finishes and products. Designer listened, understood us & our objectives, instilled confidence - design fee was well worth the total makeover achieved. Costs were detailed & agreed in advance & the entire construction was managed & completed in our absence to high standards. Highly recommended.
